Hello! Thank you for visiting our website! Our team name is CES (Morgan Campbell, Ashley Eagan and Kieran Slobodin) and we’re hoping that you will vote for us this AMS Executive election. We believe in a strong student government that gives full attention to its mandate: to serve students and to represent them.

Grocer in the Queen’s Centre

CES wants a health focused Queen’s Centre.  To accomplish this, CES will push for a fresh produce Grocer in the Queen’s Centre with an online ordering component and delivery service operating in the Student Village.

Providing New Performance and Club Space

CES will commit to revitalizing MacGillivray-Brown Hall into usable performance space.  Working with Athletics will see a refurbished gym for intramural sports and renovated club space on the lower floor.

Sustainable Initiatives

CES will turn the Sustainability Office into a recognized AMS Commission with an expanded mandate.  Additionally, CES will partner with PPS to bring composting to our services to cut down on their kitchen waste.

Supporting Our Athletics

CES will partner with A&R to create a “Passport to Your Athletics’ incentive program that will encourage student support of all our athletic teams’ home games.  CES will also feature a Game of the Week to help promote our Gaels.

When it comes to serving students our services such as the P&CC, CFRC Radio, and TAPS are the face of our organization and we believe there is no better candidate than Ashley Eagan, this year’s retail director with three years of service experience as both a staff member and as a head manager.

When it comes to representing you as a student, our VPUA candidate Kieran Slobodin is very well suited. Working this year as the Academic Affairs Commissioner has allowed him to build a strong representational role when talking about the new student system replacing QCARD and the Academic Plan.

Finally, our Presidential candidate, Morgan Campbell, has served for two years as the Undergraduate Trustee. This role has prepared her perfectly for Presidency as she has a strong grasp on finances and an even stronger position as an advocate. As a President she will be able to lead both sides of the AMS into providing a strong student government that works for you.

CES is running for AMS Executive because we want to work for you. If elected CES will dedicate their year to being the student government that you envision and working towards a better Queen’s University. Queen’s is a strong community with a large undergraduate component. If elected, we will do our best to make your years at Queen’s the experience of your lives. Say yes to CES. Make a Difference.
